An entrepreneur in Charleston, South Carolina, Eric Bowman founded software company SPARC in 2009. Under his leadership, the company produced high-quality products and services to support commercial, federal, and defense contracting customers. In 2011, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce named SPARC number one on its annual list of best places to work in South Carolina in the small to medium-sized company category. Eric Bowman served as president and chief executive officer of the company until 2015, when he exited via a sale to a Fortune 500 company.

Mr. Bowman currently leads interactive media platform Stream Live. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he gives back to his community as a board member with the Harbor Entrepreneur Center, which builds a strong Charleston workforce through networking and education. He has also mentored with non-profit organization Yes Carolina to help young people develop their professional and technical skills.

Mr. Bowman holds a bachelor of science in computer science from Indiana State University and a master of business administration from Charleston Southern University.
